Request rest time: How to pause your contract

Sometimes life gets in the way — be it because of work, young talent or health. In such cases, you have the option to pause your membership in our studio for a certain period of time (rest period).

Here you can find out everything about the requirements, time periods and required documentation.

Requirements for a rest period

A contract may be suspended if there are certain reasons. Please note that we need appropriate proof for each break.

pregnancy	up to 12 months	Maternity passport (relevant pages) or certificate
Professional absence	up to 12 months	Confirmation from employer
Financial bottlenecks	up to 3 months	Appropriate proof
Other exceptions	up to 12 months	Individual audit by management

Important note: Unfortunately, a rest period is not contractually provided for breaks due to vacation or general private reasons.

How to submit your claim

In order to process your request as quickly as possible, we need the following information from you:

1. Your customer number

2. Your home studio (where you usually work out)

3. The desired period (start and end date)

4. The reason for the break, including the above mentioned proof.

Important run-time rules

• Full months: Rest periods can generally only be booked for full calendar months.

• Contract extension: Please note that your membership will be extended by the number of paused months at the end of the term.

• Retrospective break: A break of up to 4 weeks can be entered retroactively, provided that the proof covers this period.

• Extension: Would you like to extend an existing break? No problem — we just need a new, up-to-date proof from you.

What's next?

As soon as you send us your application and proof (in person at the studio or by email), we will check the documents.

• If complete: We will set the rest period in the system and confirm the change and the new end date of your subscription period.

• If documents are missing: If proof is missing or not valid, we will inform you immediately so that you can submit it later.
